And so it begins, 45 days of expressive works. This is about 1.2 hours in the studio this morning developing expressive torsos. I’m going to add legs, heads and shoulders, but the goal is to just try things out. I want for the leg positions to be something that will help me break free. the head and arms should represent experiments in rendering the flesh and face. The body is a road map of bending and twisting with fun textures, glazes and firing techniques applied.

This will be a push and pull , splash , slash, gash and overall fun experiment that will go on for 6 weeks.
