busted
I was pulling the legs off of the wooden armature that I used to support the construction, I had noticed that the drying and shrinking was causing the clay to stick hard on the armature. But in pulling it off, I busted the foot off of the sculpture. I believe I remember in TJ Erdahl’s class he mentioned that I could use a tub partially filled with plaster, that sealed with the broken (nearly dry) sculpture, would bring it back to a leather state where I would then be able to attach back together. We’ll see.
