Letters

Working on a series of sculptural pottery these days. Intrigued by porcelain slip casting and making plaster molds. Hoping to get a plaster mold done this weekend after the first firing. We’ll see how it goes. Lot’s of efforts in the works these next few weeks to kick off the new year. Trying to finalize the boxer and fire the “queen of ways” So tonight and tomorrow I’ll hope to nail it all down. I think letters on the surface of a porcelain slip cast could be really interesting, especially if it creates thin spots in the pottery. Working with “calling all angels” as the text by Jane Siberia. I love the naming of angels as the beginning refrain. Here I am experimenting with some new letters I purchased from Ebay.
