Boxer Completed!

Finalized the Boxer this weekend and am very pleased with the result. The soda ash wash worked perfected on the lower portion of the shorts and gloves, and melted the letters on the gloves and shorts in an interesting way. I really like that the face has a rich black against the gray hair even though this is clearly a youthful face, and the “x” over the chest was something that the form asked for as a counter-point to the stars on the gloves.

Next is my version of “Burghers of Calais”
