Queen of the Ways
Added the head and completed the neck proportions this morning, finally have my base construct. Next comes the facial features and proportions and details of the face based on an actual portrait photo. I’ve decided to use this photo from Pinterest as the model. It’s interesting to see how triangular her face is. I’ll use a process from this point forward that involved the big three of shaping forms: subtraction, addition and push pull. I should have the face almost completed by weekend. I also intend to employ a fairly simple visual metaphor for her hair and and crown.
We just saw the movie “Woman in Gold” and I love the diamond necklace depicted in the movie, I probably will do something with ceramic pearls around the neck.
