detail of figurative torso sculpt
This clay body is fairly light on the grog, the result is that it’s tough to get the joins to take. I’m also seeing a lot of cracking during the drying stage. The clay is cracking on the seams even though I slipped and scored the crap out it. I’m going to keep trying out different clays. I do like how this light grog body sculpts and dries so it’s a bit of a shame that I cannot use this in future efforts.
