Using photos from cristina cordova’s recommended figure site I printed out a bunch of different angles close to my final actual size and then work from this source. I still mucked up proportions and measurements, but through refining the form over and over again I am really close to having something that nearly matches the original. I’m in the process of more refinement, but when I added the foot I realized that the leg is too long, so back to slicing and fixing. Once done, I’l add the hands and clean up the foot, then i may go straight into the development of a glass slumping mold. I bought 3 books on the subject so this should be VERY interesting.

Also working on the cloud form, I’m thinking of putting a swimmer in the clouds with a fish dancing over her head.
